渗漏的石油被收集、蒸发、生物降解或者在海浪和海流作用下分解到接近初始水平。公司在C平台附近的海底继续调查和取样,继续清理遇到的矿物油油基泥浆残留物。这项工作将继续下去,直到康菲石油、中国海洋石油总公司和中国政府部门满意地认为清理工作已经完成。
公司目前正在实施为油藏泄压的计划,并且采取新的预防措施以防止这类事件再次发生。作为分阶段恢复计划的一部分,康菲石油还准备进行新的海洋环境影响评估和更新总体开发方案。这些计划在中国海洋石油总公司和中国政府部门的监督下正在实施。
