About the BohaI BAY Compensation Fund:

• The goal of the fund is to provide a fair, fast and simple remedy for any public or private claims arising from the June 2011 accidents at the Peng Lai 19-3 field in Bohai Bay.
• The fund will be independently administered to address all reasonable claims.
• A claimant is free to choose between negotiations, filing a claim with the fund or pursuing other legal remedies.
• Administration of the compensation fund will comply with all relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China as well as international best practices.
• We will be naming a panel of respected, neutral, independent individuals who will decide claims submitted under this process.
• The fund will administer regular, independent third-party audits to ensure that the fund reaches claimants.
• A separate environmental fund has been established to support environmental projects that support the well-being of Bohai Bay and its nearby communities.
