ConocoPhillips has developed a Global Recruitment and Development (GRAD) program that accelerates career opportunities through skill development and helps to build a global workforce. The GRAD program includes training and rotational assignments, and the opportunity for selected new hires to have an international development assignment designed to encourage global mobility early in an employee’s career.
The GRAD program seeks to provide the best possible training and development opportunities for new hires and recent hires in the company's Exploration and Production business. GRAD will help ConocoPhillips to develop the best possible global employees. Years zero-to-two of the program focus on shorter development assignments and classroom training. Years three-to-five provide longer development assignments to build greater depths of skill. Approximately one-third of our GRAD population will have the opportunity to work outside of their home country for six months to one year during years three-to-five of the program.
