Used Battery Recycling Campaign

In October 2005, this ConocoPhillips-sponsored campaign encouraged children from seven local elementary and secondary schools in Shenzhen to collect used batteries for professional disposal.
In just one month the students collected around 50,000 used batteries, with a combined total weight of 650 kg. Building on this fantastic achievement, the Xijiang office subsequently set up battery collection bins in the seven schools and communal living areas. 

HSE Day 

Since 1999, ConocoPhillips China has conducted annual Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Days in the Shekou community, Guangdong province. The HSE Day provides essential advice that residents can put into practice in their own homes.
