ConocoPhillips is dedicated to providing urgent support to communities hit by natural disasters. Support comes from direct company gifts and employee donations alike. Employees who donate to these causes may also receive matching funds from the company's generous Matching Gifts program. Through 2017, ConocoPhillips has donated over RMB 6.23 million for earthquake and related disaster relief in China. One of our most important contributions has been to the development of a Disaster Assessment System, which is the matrix with different dimension and criteria that assists industry peers in providing a quick assessment to the damage level of unpredictable disasters.

In addition, special efforts were made for ConocoPhillips employees and contractors inside and outside of China to make donations, which were matched by the company. A total of RMB 246,736 was donated by ConocoPhillips employees and an additional RMB 559,740 through the ConocoPhillips Matching program. All the donations are made through the China Red Cross Society.
