BEIJING - ConocoPhillips China Inc. today announced that it has received notification from the State Oceanic Administration granting approval for gradual resumption of normal production operations at the Peng Lai 19-3 oilfield in the Bohai Bay.

The approval to gradually resume normal production operations follows the recent approval of the revised Environmental Impact Assessment and the revised Overall Development Program for the Peng Lai 19-3 oilfield submitted by ConocoPhillips and the China National Offshore Oil Company. These submissions include enhanced plans for operational procedures to assure that reservoir water-flooding will be conducted in a safe and sustainable manner.
