To address demand from ConocoPhillips’ global business units for products and services sourced from China, ConocoPhillips Business Service (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (also known as China Business Service Center, CBSC) was established in October 2014. Following the philosophy that “Think Globally, Act Locally”, CBSC is positioned to support sourcing activities for global business units to reduce operation costs.

CBSC also provides transactional support through the “Follow the Sun” model for all business units around the globe. The major activities include e-commerce supplier enablement, material cataloging, outlining vendor agreement, executing purchase orders, expediting, contract management etc. 

By optimizing supply chain processes and leveraging local expertise, CBSC aims to fortify operational capabilities and maintain business continuity in the long run.
