Mothers’ Health Vehicle Program

As part of the efforts to empower women’s health and development in rural areas, ConocoPhillips China partnered with China Women’s Development Foundation to donated two Mothers’ Health Vehicles and additional medical equipment to the Lingshou County in Hebei Province and Quannan County in Jiangxi Province since 2022. The medical vans have made more than 440 trips to over 120 local villages, carrying out cervical and breast cancer screening, while offering free medical diagnoses and health education to more than 90,000 women. Throughout the years, the project has effectively bridged the “last mile”, providing critical support to address local women’s health issues.

In addition to the facility donation, ConocoPhillips China has actively leveraged its resources and invited medical experts from top-tier hospitals including Qingdao Women and Children’s Hospital to offer free clinic services and training courses for patients and medical workers from the beneficiary counties, wherein the experts shared their experience in diagnosing and treating common gynecological and pediatric diseases.
