At ConocoPhillips China, we have a very talented, engaged and diverse workforce, with local staff and expatriates from six countries. Notably, around 50% are female and half of team leader and supervisory positions are also held by female employees. Our employees have an average of 15 years of service, underscoring their confidence, satisfaction and deep connection to our organization.

Advancing Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Journey

At ConocoPhillips, we believe our unique differences power the future of energy. Our DEI vision states that we foster an inclusive culture that benefits all employees and values the rich mixture of backgrounds, identities, and work styles of our people, built on equitable practices that support all employees in unlocking their full potential. All company leaders are also accountable for advancing DEI through local efforts. 

In China, DEI is something we hold dear, and “Better Together” is our universally endorsed DEI motto.

ConocoPhillips China embarked on the journey to build a more inclusive work environment in 2018. Since then, inclusion has been taken from concept to action and become an integral pillar of our strategy and annual goals.

To further increase the visibility of DEI across the company and support our own journey, we established the DEI committee. Sponsored by leaders, the organization recruits and mobilizes employees from various functions to carry out action-oriented campaigns and activities to identify and address barriers and challenges along our DEI journey.
